   I would like to create a theme that dispaly a single post type page when clicking on teh menu. Such that if a there are 3 posts in categoy dogs (for example)when clickin on dogs category, the first blog of this category only will be displayed with 'next post' link .

   Any ideas how to create this?

   admin -> dashboard -> settings -> reading -> blog pages show at most

   or read about query in the codex http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/query_posts
