How to display random post links with a thumbnail ... (2 posts)

    I'm having trouble finding information on how to do this. I think the problem is my usage of keywords. Anyway, I would prefer code that I can paste into my Twenty Eleven child theme.

    I would love to have a row of small thumbnail images beneath each post, with a corresponding post title that links to the full story. How do I accomplish this? I saw some plugins, but the reviews seem mixed.

    Do you have any suggestions? My site is in maintenance mode, so I can't provide any links.

    Thanks!

    check this similar topic:

    particular the pastebin code in here:

    re-rewritten to include the link:

    have a row of small thumbnail images beneath each post

    - in single posts: then edit content-single.php;
    - in the front page and archive pages: then edit content.php.
