How can I customize the codes so that I can display FB, Twitter, LinkedIn links and user's bio inside the tooltip just like in Better Author Bio plugin here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/better-author-bio/screenshots/ ??

It would be perfectly complete with this customization cause not everyone has Gravatar account.

Hi, here you are a pastebin: http://pastebin.com/JyYzgwXU
Paste that code in a php file (named as you like) and put it inside /wp-content/mu-plugins folder of your blog (if mu-plugins does not exist, simply create it).
This code replaces the standard tooltip content with user bio, link to user recent posts, links to social profiles (as filled in profile by user). It does not need Better Author Bio installed.
    I hope it helps.

    Hi, eventualo!
    http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/avatar-tooltip
    great plugin, thank you!!!
It works with default wp theme "Twenty Twelve" with default avatar img.
But it doesn't work when I used local img.

I see that there are no adding the [rel] attribute to selectors with local img...
    Please help!!!

    Respect for you!
    Thanks in advance!

I've just released the version 1.0.2 that should solve it. Now the [rel] attribute is added after filters of other plugins.
Please download it and let us know your feedback.

    Eventualo!
Thanks a lot for answer! You are the best!
Now it works on "Twenty Twelve", "Twenty Ten" default wp theme (and many other - about 80% of viewed themes).
But on my theme theme (and some other themes) it doesn't work.
I'm working now to find the answer.

    Thanks for quick answer!!!
