I have customized my menu, adding some pages i had created and 3 category pages, but at the moment only the pages are being displayed, when I try to click on the category pages' links within the menu, nothing happens, and the url for each category page is something like:
http://domainname.com/#
How can we make these category pages on the custom menu display a page with all the posts published within that category just by clicking on them on the custom menu of a blog?
Did you create this menu via Appearance -> Menus?

Do these 3 categories actually exist on your site? If so, try removing them from the custom menu and then re-adding them.

yes, still when I place the mouse over the categories the url is: http://anything.com/#, for all the categories, it does not change, and clicking on them have no response. The pages on the menu instead, they work well, and url are like: http://anything.com/about, etc..

can't publish it before it's launched..
but when the posts appear on the main page, and at the bottom you find information about under which category and tags the post was published.
Then if I click on the category at the bottom, this time it displays a page with that category and its posts, just as the one I need to display when clicking on the same category on the custom menu
If we can't see the site, then we can't offer much more in the way of help.

I am trying to do this using the plugin Page to Links. It worked on the localhost, but it is still an issue for the online site

Pages cannot be associated with Categories what do you mean 3 category pages?

Categories can be displayed as Pages, they are called Category Pages..

how to use Page To Links plugin succesfully or any other way to link categories to pages on the custom menu? pls
