How to display a "Random Post" link just like WordPress.com? (3 posts)

I use WordPress both for my self-hosted blog and free-hosted blog at wordpress.com. My personal blog is at http://aisjournal.com One thing I like about WordPress.com is its admin bar (that floats) gives you a link "Random Post" under "Blog Info" drop-down menu. Clicking that link leads you to a random post from the archive. The link looks like this: <b>http://aisjournal.com/?random

I make the best use of it by putting a big button on my sidebar for my readers. Now, I'm looking for something similar for my self-hosted WordPress as well. I have tried to add '/?random' at the end of self-hosted blog's URL but it does not work.

Any suggestion how to get it working?

Thank you very much, Samuel. This plugin seems to be a little complicated to use. It requires another plugin to work. Plus, apparently it displays a list of random articles while the wordpress.com one provides a button. You click the button, and a random post from the archive is opened. See this for example: http://aisjournal.com/?random

I was actually looking for something like this; not the one that provides a list.

    Thanks again for your reply.
