My Theme has right click protection and I also have WP-CopyProtect installed. As you will see if you click on the first image on this page http://steveruddyphotography.com/blog/
it loads a new page just with that image so you can comment on it. However if you click on that image again it now opens it on another new page with nothing else but the image itself. Here it can be right clicked and copied.

Once the image has been loaded to the comment page I would like the image clicks to be disabled or better yet have an image click load the image into my light box for better viewing and right click protection.

By default when you add an image to wordpress it links to the image url.

Before you add the image into the post on the right in the Attachment Display Settings, there is a "Link To" drop down that is set to Media File. You can change that to none.

I have used this plugin to set the default link to be none when adding an image. This will save you and others from accidentally forgetting to change it every time.

Thanks Simalam! As an alternative anyone know the code for having it open in lightbox?

I don't see the attachment display settings on the right.
