How to disable excerpt for a single post (7 posts)

    Hi,

    I would like to disable the excerpt just for a single post. The post ID is 1707, let's say.

    I have the ability to add custom CSS (which can be used for display) into my theme options, so I don't have to do any changes in the editor. What code would I use to remove the excerpting function for this single post.

    I am not very technical so if you can write the code down for me I will try to paste it into the custom CSS and see if it works.

    I am using woothemes.

    Thank you.

    Do you have the link exactly where that excerpt is displayed?

    Hi David,

    I don't, as I was just testing different variations of code I found online.

    It will be just a short intro post and I would like to leave the whole intro and not default it into an excerpt, like for example you have when someone clicks on the category link.All the posts are in excerpt form. The first post in the category I would like to leave not excerpted.

    Then your site URL? So I can check how the HTML is structured.

    This should do it.

    body.home .post-1707 .entry { display: none; }

    Hi David,

    Thank you. I don't know much about codes but by reading this code that you sent me, it seems to me that you thought I did not want to show the post excerpt on the page.

    What I don't want is to have the post in the excerpt form. I want the post to show on the page but in a complete form not in an excerpted form because it is quite a short post and also for another reason.

    regards,

    Dita
