How to disable donation popup auto-fill

Is it possible to disable the auto-fill feature in the donation popup?
It does not function reliably and, once a number is entered, it will automatically throw in $0.00 if you clear the field. To enter a new amount, you have to race against the script to enter your amount before the zeroes appear again.
In certain configurations, it will enter 1 billion or more regardless of what amount is entered.
