   I run a multi-author site. I use headline and featured categories to appear certain posts on top of my front page. But, authors can easily select these categories and make their posts appear on top! How can I restrict these two categories not appear in the ediot window for authors? Only admin should be able to see these categories. Is there any way to do this?

   I got a plugin "Bind to category" to do this job. But, it need to be selected for each author separately but as it is a community blog, it has quite a lot of users.

   Dave Coppit's Category Access pretty much does what you need.
