how to direct or stored registration files/users/members to a specific site (im in multisite mode) in the new wordpress 3.1.
I want all new registered members to have http://www.popsicles.ph in the sites area. see the pic below for you to understand what I mean:

Notice how some members have no site in the sites area. I wanted it all new members to have http://www.popsicles.ph
It's kind of hard to look at an image if you paste text all over it.
For starters, you're using BUDDYPRESS. Yes, that's important for us to know to help you.
Second - I isgned up as a test user. what does it say for sillyandrea?
Third - if you want a user to be an author or an editro - did you try adding them as a user to that site first?
Go to Sites -> Edit. then pick "add user".
1. Yes Im using BP.
2. Oh, I found you. Here's a screenshoot. I mark red your entire info and the blue mark is for the "sites". Notice how you dont have the site http://www.popsicles.ph in your info. Its just blank. With this even if I want to change your role from let say author to editor I can't because when I will go the the Users Setting in SITE ADMIN MODE>Site http://WWW.POPSICLES.PH I can't because your file/Name is not on that site.

3. I did try it but I failed. and it would be to hassle for me to add members every time there will be new ones right?
#3 - so you're saying you want *every single member* to be an author or editor when they sign up?
Also - buddypress. this is buddypress related and should be dealt with over there.
no. what Im trying to say is even if I want to change their roles I still cant since the new ones were not assigned with "sites" like now, I have a member that I want her to be an author how can I change her role if when she registered the "sites" on her profile is completely blank just like when you registered...I tried using ADD USER in the specific site where I wanted her to be an author but it doesnt work.
I tried turning off all plugins including buddypress then register a new account and it turned out the result is still the same. Even if the BP may be turned off or on the "sites" for new users are COMPLETELY BLANK.
The site registration is not a bug. See: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/problem-with-registration-after-upgrade-to-31?replies=19 and http://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/16685
Also as I mentioned, you may want to check these plugins:
Let users signup per blog
* http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/add-users-sidebar-widget/
Automatically add new users to each site in your WordPress network
* http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/multisite-user-management/
This is a dupe question, though worded a little differently, it's the same idea, so let's stay in the other, older topic, for now, since it's all about registration today :D
