Access your server via FTP or SFTP and delete the WordPress files.

Hi, Macmanx
Thanks for your reply. I tried accessing my wordpress files thru “Filezilla” but cannot find the relevant file to delete.
Is it wp-content???
Appreciate your assistance

you delete everything. so if you have say a folder called wordpress and it has all your wordpress files in it, delete the whole folder. anything wp related has to go to get it out of the system and you might have to delete the data base containing the tables, but i could be wrong

Are you using WordPress on the other domains?

And does each domain have its own WordPress installation, or are you using WordPress MU or WordPress in Multisite mode?

I download wordpress for each site. I fear to delete any file as it might delete files from my other domains too.
Please advice how I can delete wordpress only from my primary domain and how to find the files belonging to the primary domain?
Thanks for kind assistance.

If you have a WordPress installation for each domain, then each domain has its own files. Since you want to remove the files from your primary domain, just delete the WordPress files in the primary directory (usually /public_html/
, /public/
, /web/
, /www/
, or /home/
). Since the other domains have their own WordPress files, they’ll be fine.

You can setup a Multisite network as of WordPress 3.0, but I do not believe that you can integrate existing blogs into the network.

No, delete the WordPress files within whichever is your primary directory. If you’re unsure about what “the WordPress files” are, download it and see for yourself.
