    I'm new to wordpress , hopme somebody can give me a guide

    1.how to delete the "is proudly powered by WordPress "
    2.how to the below in the side bar :

    Meta
    Site Admin
    Log out
    Valid XHTML
    XFN
    WordPress

    1) you try this by changing the css property of the footer or whatever ID is for the footer text

    yourcssID{
    display:none;
    }

    2)if you login as admin for your wordpress, go to appearance>widgets
    then you should see on the right your meta widget just click and drag it outside the sidebar if that makes sense.

    Can we delete the "is proudly powered by WordPress" from footer? Is there any problem if we delete it?

    You can delete the "is proudly powered by" stuff by editing your theme.
