   Can anyone tell me how to delete the 'search' text box that appears in my header?

   Sorry, I should have said in the header PICTURE, that is, the second box down from the top r/h corner...

   Hai norrimac, Just open header.php and there will be the coding for search box. Just remove it. Or put command line (//) in front of it..

   example:

   <?php //get_template_part('searchform'); ?>

   Hi there,

   I want to do the same and get rid of my search box at the top on my theme 'Chateau' http://coviniengineering2.wordpress.com/

   I see lots of answers on forums saying to open header.php - where on earth is this?!

   Help would be much appreciated - thanks guys!

   "wp-content/themes/pub/chateau/header.php" Thanks...
