Saw this question for 2.3.3 and wondering if there were any hints for 2.5.1. I want all the thumbnails on my blog to link to their relevant page. It would therefore be nice if the image upload tool (vastly superior in this version - love it) could be set to default to "page" instead of "file".
Anyone know if this is do-able without editing core files?
I have the same question. I want to default to "none."
I don't know why the latest version of WP assumes that I want to link to the image itself... but I don't and I have no reason to since my images are already full size.
WP should not assume what users want. For usabilities sake it should default to "none" and let users select something other than that!

I also have the same question...how do I link my images to their relevant page - not the file itself?
