How to: Custom Content Type Creates New Page (1 post)

There are a lot of great Custom Content Type plugins out there, but I'm wondering what exactly I need to accomodate the following:

I'm trying to set up a very user-friendly wordpress Admin Area. In the left main menu, I would like links to create different types of Pages (not posts), with custom fields to regulate the exact nature of content allowed on this type of page.

For example, Bio Pages. In the Administration Area, a User Clicks "Bio Pages" on the left menu and is taken to a "Bio Page" Management area, where the User can Add New/Delete/Edit their Bio Pages. Each Bio Page has only the following fields:

    -Name
    -Age
    -Location

    etc...

Can the existing Custom Post Type Plugins do this, or should I be looking to create this type of functionality a different way.

    Thanks!
