• I want to make the administration of my site as friendly as possible, so I’d like to have something like prepaired forms for my authors to fill in. For instance the site is presenting information about festival events and my idea is that the author of the content would just fill in the the following form:
    Name of the band:_________
Place:_________ (wysiwyg editor, may contain links to google maps)
    Date:_________ {calendar)
    Description:_________ (wysiwyg editor)

I know i could use custom fields, but they dont allow me to apply a wysiwyg editor (e.g. for adding links) and even though they can be remembered for other articles, they far from a nice form that you would just fill in and they require the change of display settings in your profile.

Is there any plugin that would allow me to load those fields certain for type of posts (e.g. according to the category) and put wysiwyg editor on them? I know that for the second issue i could use advanced custom fields plugin, but isn’t there some more sophisticated solution?

Im sorry if I ask something that has been reapetadly answered before and off course apologies for gramtical mistakes, corrections welcomed.

My own laziness caused that i did not solve the problem immediately. The newest version of Advanced Custom Fields available on github is absolutely amazing and offers all the functionality i could ever imagine.
