    Hi,
1- Hi I have a hosting and I want to create some sub domain. The idea is to I have several sites and blogs. And I want to manage all my websites with the same installation of WORDPRESS.
2- Should I have to create the sub domains under the C-PANEL ? I’m afraid to have to manage with too many installations of WORDPRESS.
3- I’ve been told I can create it under WORDPRESS 3.X, will it create the sub domains on the server so that I could upload files for these sites ?
I've updated my wordpress but I can't see the multi site option.
    Thank you for your help

  2. Read http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network

You have to activate the Multisite Option manually.

Note: WP will NOT create the subdomains, you still have to do that. Since you're using cpanel, you can probably get away with wildcard subdomains by making a subdomain of * (yes, the star) and pointing it to /public_html or wherever you have WP installed.

    Thanks Ipstenu,
where do I put the start (*) in the intruction define('WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE', true); ?

When it's created manualy will wordpress detect it automaticaly ?

    Thanks again

  4. No, you put it in cpanel. Generally it's like making a normal sbdomain, just you make one for * instead of a 'name.'

Ask your host for specific help on making wildcard subdomains on their servers.
