   Need a little help.

   can someone post a sample htaccess file so my urls can look like this: domain.com/categories/title-of-post

   annoyed, thanks in advance.

   You don't need to edit your .htaccess to change the link structure. Log into your admin. Go to settings/permalinks and choose or create the structure you want. Save.
