  • Hi there,
On the website I am currently creating, I do have a lot of interviews of people. I would like to create a page with a list of all the interviewees automatically with a link the related article (like when you click on a category), example:

    list of interviewee:
Rodger Federer (1) (he appears in one interview)
Rafael Nadal (4) (he appears in 4 interviews and if we click on the name, we can have the four articles where his name appears.)
    etc.

I’ve tried using special field but I just don’t know how I can create a list of all occurences in a separate page. I can also add a metadata for each name but at the end, it is very confusing with the other metadata…

Any idea how to do that?
    Thanks in advance.
    G.

  • Are these interview all in one specific category? Or do they share a specific tag?

Not really, they are spreaded over several categories and they are related to different topics so tag are chosen accordingly.

I’ve done a basic trick for the time being: I search for the name of the person and I create a link with the search query on the name in the list (created manually for this purpose). The problem of this, it’s not really accurate, rather than searching all interviews related to the person, it also returns articles where the name of the person is and obviously the list is not updated automatically when there is a new interviewee.

Another solution will be better though…

You really need to have at least 1 common factor to connect these interviews together first.

alright, so let’s say I have the same category or the same metadata, how can I build the list and count the number of occurence per name?
