   Hi! thanks to simple-press team i've converted my smf forum to simple:press (smf > phpbb3 > bbpress > simple:press).
   Now i want try to migrate "news board" (a board for article in home page grabbed from smf) in wordpress article (with all comments).
   I've a valid database of smf+phpbb3+bbpress+simple:press then i need a script to convert one of this forum script in wordpress.

   First post topic in article and comments as replies.

   Someone can help me with this conversion?

   I can try also to convert to drupal or joomla or other but i need an help to make this. I need to convert just one board (650 Posts - 206 Topics).

   I'll try to best explain my request.
   Is there any way to convert phpbb3 or smf or bbpress or simplepress forum (just topics with own comments) in wordpress (articles with own replies)? :/
   I want leave my actual website (smf based) for wordpress but i need to maintain my news-board.

   Yes, i know but this convert is from *some_forum* to spf and not from spf to wordpress. I can convert smf to spf but i don't have found any way to convert a board (from spf or any other forum) in wordpress article.

   A few keen users/developers are working on a converter. Should be available soon. Don't have any other details as I'm not directly involved in their development.

   @JJJ: maybe is a good idea also a "promotion" in bbpress 2.0 (in dev - i think to try to migrate smf > phpbb3 > bbpress 1.0 > bbpress 2.0).
   After of this a "promotion" plugin (or convert like http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/post-type-switcher/) i think can be a great solution.
