i'm using the aortic-dissection version, but i suppose it can apply to 3.1 and higher.
when we apply the "aside" format to a post, it does not show on the home page *(or blog page), it just show in the category it is in, or the ephemera widget. how is this possible without breaking glass??
i searched the queries, but does not find how it evade the aside format in the global query.
can someone help on this, the goal is to create a "plugin" to enable the choice of post_formats to show on blog or not... for different usages though... *(like not show formats of type x or y so we can show then in specific categories etc, transforming the "links" format to a category that is a blogroll on itself)
this would speed up the development of a lot of tools though... :)
