• I contacted SlideDeck2 support and they are unsure how to approach this.

    I also saw this thread with no response:
    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/wp-super-cache-and-slidedeck-loading-strategies?replies=1

    regarding minifying, they said
    “SlideDeck already minifies the JS that we output for the main plugin and general SlideDeck logic. So re-minifing those is likely to cause issues. Most if not all caching plugins come with an exclusion section for minification. Sometimes it is the entire directory or more often the specific files.
    If you can try to exclude the entire SlideDeck plugin to see how that works please do. After that you can try excluding the following scripts in SlideDeck:
    * /js/slidedeck-public.js
    * /js/slidedeck-ress.js
    * /js/slidedeck.jquery.js
    * if using scroll wheel /js/jquery-mousewheel/jquery.mousewheel.min.js “

    so, what can i do?

  • I would also like to know how to make this load faster… it takes so long to load, looking at the blank area while it’s loading makes me cringe. Please help!
