How to close comments on a static page

    Hi. I’ve done a clean install of 3.2 on Win7 running Apache 2.2.14, PHP 5.3.1 and MySQL 5.1.41. Default theme, twentyeleven.
    I’ve created a new page but i cannot seem to realize how to close comments on that page. Any help please?

    Edit the page.

    Click on ‘Screen Options’ up at the top on the grey bar.

    Check the box that says “Discussion”

    Refresh the page.

    The discussions box should appear below your post (probably at the bottom of the column).
