• Hi,

I used to have a wordpress installation and I built my website on it. Because of some changes from hosting provider, database got corrupted and lost all my tables!

Is there a way that I can get back my theme and hierarchy of pages, so that I can put back my content and start using it again?

I have the previously installed wordpress folder with me.

    Thanks,
    Vamshi

  • Your theme (and plugins) are in your wordpress folder, so you have them (along with uploaded media / images etc).

Do you have a backup of your database ? (or does your hosting?)
All of your content (plus theme settings plus plugin settings) are in the database. So you will have to recreate your content unless you have a backup or can recover it from your prior hosting provider.

Yes. Your theme files should still be in the /wp-content/themes/yourtheme directory on your server.

Unless you have a backup copy of your data, I’m afraid this information isn’t stored on your theme files, just in your database. If you had no backup copy, I’m afraid that information is probably lost.
