[resolved] how to change width of columns (5 posts)

    Hi Stuart, I love this theme HeatMap AdAptive
    I have chosen a three columns layout and the left column by default is 160 pxels wide and the right column is 300. I want to modify both of these columns to be the same size, i.e. 230 on each side approx.
    Can you tell me what code snippet to put in the style css? (I assume I paste it at the bottom of the style.css?)
    Many thanks

    If this theme has a custom CSS box use it or put the following code inside a plugin like PC Custom CSS.

    .heatmapthemead-layout-both-sidebars #heatmapthemead-the-content {
        margin: 0 230px;
    }
    .heatmapthemead-layout-both-sidebars #heatmapthemead-primary-sidebar {
        width: 230px;
    }
    .heatmapthemead-layout-both-sidebars #heatmapthemead-secondary-sidebar {
        margin-left: -230px;
        width: 230px;
    }

    For anyone interested in this thread...

    Please note that the solution above only works for desktops.

    In order for it to work as the device narrows further css tweaks are required.

    I have posted a mod for this in the HeatMap AdAptive Pro members forum, which can be easily applied using the CSS override feature thats included with HeatMap Adaptive Pro version.
