   I've gone though the code and I am having a difficult time changing the twitter widget font color. As you will see my footer color is black and so it the font color.

   You will probably need to start customising your theme's CSS - possibly via a child theme. However, as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek further support from the theme's vendors.

   O.k thanks. I downloaded the theme off the wordpress themes section. Either way, thanks for the help. Child Theme here I come.

   try to work with a tool such as Firefox' add-on Firebug http://getfirebug.com/ to identify the involved css selectors.

   .widget_twitter would be one of them.
