   Hi every one
   my question is about the URL format of my wordpress blog, i am new to wordpress and i searched on google about it but did'nt fount some good results.

   currently the URL appears on my individual posts is something like this:
   http://www.SITENAME.com/?p=39

   but i want its format like this:
   http://www.SITENAME.com/2008/09/39/post-title-should-be-there/

   i want anyone to please make me understand about this thing in simple words that how i can convert my URL to my desired format and please also tell me that is this "http://www.SITENAME.com/2008/09/39/post-title-should-be-there/" form of URL beneficial for SEO thing?

   admin/settings/permalinks/day and name. Click it. Scroll down. Save changes.
