    Hi,

I have created a 4-column thumbnail grid and am using it as a menu, linking each picture to a URL.

The problem is, on hover I get a red box with a “+” symbol in it which seems to be an image (.sfv)

What I would like to do is change this to display the title of the image, or a caption like what happens with the square tiles gallery.

    Is this possible?

    Any help much appreciated.

I have just tried a different theme and it works.

Must be theme specific but cannot understand why 🙁

I am using Illustratr theme if anyone in case still able to help.

On twentythirteen, when I hover over the images the caption show up underneath, just not in Illustratr, instead I get a red box as described above which almost covers the image.

    Hi,

Likely there is a feature of your theme that adds that overlays in general and is overriding the typical behavior. The theme’s author may be able to help in more detail.

    What is your site’s URL?

    Hi,

I have now moved to twenty fourteen where everything is working fine.

    Thanks for the reply.
