• Hello,

    Codex sates :
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Pages
Pages cannot be associated with Categories and cannot be assigned Tags. The organizational structure for Pages comes only from their hierarchical interrelationships, and not from Tags or Categories.

But with some themes (I use carrington) Pages belong to the default category and this is displayed.
What is the Database entry to change the category (in wp_post the catyegory entry is 0 for everything)

    Thanks

    Luc

  • No, they don’t have categories. Period. For internal technical reasons Pages always are assigned to the default category of your blog (and that will change accordingly, if you set another default cat!) – but only bad, ignorant theme designers leave the category name displayed on a Page template. Don’t follow their mistake…
