How to change "Previous Entries" behavior? (3 posts)

At http://www.pupntaco.com/wordpress/ the "Previous Entries" link on the front page loads the previous single entry and keeps the list of previous entries the same. I'd like it to load a page showing all previous entries (maybe 20 at a time).

    How can I fix this?

I am not exactly sure what you mean but you can change the number of blog posts display on a page by going to Settings-> Reading, and change the number for "Blog pages show at most" to whatever number you desire.

    Thanks, that helped... sort of.

I'm seeing more posts on the category pages now (see http://www.pupntaco.com/wordpress/?cat=3), but I want to restrict the front page (see here http://www.pupntaco.com/wordpress/) to one post. I'll probably ditch the "previous" list of entries at page bottom since it can easily be created via the sidebar widget.

So, to modify my question - how to restrict the front page to one blog post and let the other categories display five posts?
