[closed] How to change posts from Transparent to Opaque? (2 posts)

    Hi guys, I love my theme, but I just want the posts to NOT be transparent. I would like them to have a white background (not the background of my entire site), to make them easier to read.

    Surely this must be possible?

    My site:
    http://www.hannahmazing.com

    In CSS I just tried changing this part:

    background:transparent;

    to

    background:#ffffff;

    but that changed EVERYTHING to opaque (solid white).

    I only want the POSTS & Widgets to be opaque. Not the entire background page.

    Please tell me this is possible...?

    :D

    Thanks!
    Hannah

    That is to say, I like the background image to show up BEHIND the posts, but I don't want it to show up THROUGH the posts....

    Crossing my fingers somebody knows how to do this!

    Please don't create duplicate threads - it makes it much harder for people to help you - http://wordpress.org/support/topic/make-posts-opaque-not-transparent?replies=2
