How to change ?pid= to #pid= enquiry?

    I’m interested in a change in the plugging Nextgen Gallery concerning URL address of the photos shown in “imagebrowser template”. Currently, URL of the photos from gallery contains ?pid=xxxx. Is there any possibility to make the URL of the photos from the gallery contain #pid=xxxx instead of current ?pid=? If so, I’d like to ask to let me know how to do it – what changes in the pluggin should be made?
