    Hello everybody!

I'm new here as I just set up my blog. I have been trying to change the picture in the header of my theme but I can't figure it out. Can anybody help me with this problem? The theme is "Wooden Mannequin 1.1 by Lorem Ipsum"

    Thanks!

    Mike

Do you mean the three robot image if so you need to create a new image exact size I think it is 760px × 175px

then upload it wp-content/themes/wooden-mannequin/img/front.jpg keeping same name front.jpg for the new image.

Go to the theme folder, then find the images folder. Inside that folder you will find the header image.

Now create an image and give it the same name as that of the header on the site. Delete the image that came with the theme, upload your new image in the same folder, and there ya go!

Thank you for the answers. I can't seem to find the theme folder however. Where is that located?

    Thanks!

On the server, you'll see a wp-content folder. Inside of that, you'll see a folder that's called Themes, and inside of that is Wooden Mannequin.

Let us know if that doesn't work!

    Best,

Or if you don't want to (or don't know how to), you can just go into your wordpress dashboard (where you add posts and pluggins) and find:

    Appearance

    then click

    Header

    Then read where it says

Upload new file (or something like that)

Then upload a file that has been cropped to exactly the same dimensions that you see listed for the one (default) that it shows already being there.

I hope I didn't just make things worse....

    I'm a newbie, too.

    Good luck, meng!

This is getting a bit embarrassing but I still can't figure it out. I don't know whor to find the wp-folder on the server, or even to acces the server and I don't see anything that says "header" under "appearance". Do any of you have the patience to walk me trough it?

Do you have cpanel or window server.

If you have cpanel login in you come all the icons like desktop on your computer.

    Click on file manager
there may be popup select home directory
    click on public_html folder
If you installed in root that is your domain name then you should see wordpress folders and files
    or
you will see a folder where you installed wordpress or any other name you gave when installing click on folder and you will see the wordpess files and folders

    click wp-content folder
    click themes folder
    click on wooden-mannequin
    click on img folder

in there you will see front.jpg replace this file keeping the same name.

Widow server is different and have not worked on one.
