    Hello all,

I am trying to change the title of my WordPress page color from purple to white. I am using Mountain creek theme. Here is a picture of what I am referencing to:

I have looked through the forums and have not found a suitable answer. Can anyone help?

Appearance is controlled by your CSS code that is typically in a style.css file. But in general, you should use a Child Theme or a custom CSS option or plug-in to make changes to the CSS code - so that your changes are not erased when you update the theme.

Firebug is a great tool for working with CSS so I'd recommend using it. These references should give you some more information:

Thanks, but do you know where I could find the code necessary in style.css to change the page title color from purple to say, white? I know the hex codes already

Find out the theme name by going to Appearances>theme.
You can also go to Appearances>theme editor to show the current style.css in use

    Alternatively,
You will find the theme css file by navigating via FTP to yourdomain>wp-content>themes>yourthemename>style.css
