I only have a couple of categories, but I'm not able to control the display of the results. The results do not even have a the location name, so the user cannot even click on the result to get to the profile page. I don't know which file to edit to modify a store pages category page. Can you please advise?

Not sure what you mean by "Store Pages Category Page". If you have Store Pages the categories link on the admin side should be there.
As for the front-end users that is all up to your theme and how it is designed.
