   Hoping someone can help!
   Working on a site using the Twenty Eleven theme. Added a submenu using the Menu feature. The pulldown menus have a greater height than I would like. Wondering how I can reduce the height of the box they sit in?

   This would require CSS amendments but don't edit the Twenty Eleven theme. It is the default WordPress 3.2 theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues.

   Create a child theme for your customisations. Once your child theme is active, we should be able to help with the customisation.

   Thanks very much. I've now created a twentyeleven child theme for customisations. Hoping you can point me in the right direction as to changing the look of the submenus.
