    You can change the font in style.css if you are comfortable changing CSS. If you are not comfortable changing the CSS yourself, then use a plugin like Google Fonts.

    This is correct, but create a child theme or use a CSS plugin. If you are editing the core style.css file, when you update your theme your styles will be overwritten.

    If you are not comfortable with CSS the the Google Fonts plugin would be the best bet.
