   Hi all.

   Novice who misplaced password for database.
   I was told to change the user names in my cpanel to correct the problem, which i did and i gave it permission to my database.
   I now cannot open my web page due to 'database problems'.
   I am now told by my hosting co that i need to upgrade my config file .

   Can anyone tell me how this is done ?

   fitzroy,

   You can FTP into your website and edit the wp-config.php file in a normal text editor. Once you open the file, take a look for the database password and you'll see that you can change it to your new one.
