How to change column size on a page (not home page) (4 posts)

    I have set up the columns on my home page to be a specific width. Now, I'd like to change the column width on pages other than the home page, but when I adjust what I see as the column width, it changes what's on the homepage, too.

    Here's the column width I have to change. I'd like to widen the area where you currently see the postings.

    Have you asked the theme developer for help with this? - http://themeforest.net/item/dynamix-premium-wordpress-theme/113901

    That kind of layout is quite complicated and theme specific - and since it's a commercial theme we don't have access to them for testing or use - which part of the reason we don't support commercial themes here.

    I did ask the original developer, but he said he won't help with custom support and this is so important to me to get this fixed.

    I am an experienced web developer, but this is something that is just stumping me. Is there a generic way to change a specific column's width on a specific page, without causing issues to columns on other pages.

    A lot of themes generate a page-specific class or ID in the body tag - so you can use that in the CSS selectors to target the CSS to a specific page - in this site you might be able to use one of these:

    <body class="directory activity inskin-two" data-twttr-rendered="true">
