How to center featured image?

    Hello,

    I need help centering my featured image. I’m using a plugin called “Default featured image” that defaults an image to every post. The problem is that’s it’s aligned to the left and makes the post look a bit off.

    This is the code I found in my .css:

    .featured_image {
    background:#cab499;
    margin-top:40px;
    padding:5px;
    border:none;
    box-shadow:0 1px 2px #9e9e9c;
