How To Bring My Blog From Blogspot To WordPress

    Hi,

    I’ve had a blog on blogspot but have now decided to change to wordpress. How can I bring my previous blog template and content over to wordpress?

    Do you have hosting that allows mysql/php? If you do then download WP, install it, and then once it’s installed go to admin/manage/import and import your blogspot blog. It won’t bring over the “template” though. They’re called themes in WP and you have to upload them. Blogger templates would not be compatible with WordPress so you’ll either have to find another that is or convert the one you’re using.

    If you don’t have hosting/proper hosting you can get a free blog at http://www.wordpress.com and do the same as I described above. There are several themes to choose from but you can’t upload your own.
