How to block parts of content from copy paste

    Hello all!! I am looking for a way to partially block content from being copied and pasted. I know that there are plugins for that but they all lock the complete page. What i need is a code for locking the regular text but there are parts that are allowed to be copied. The parts allowed will be between the blockquote,code and /blockquote and /code.

    I wish all the answers i got in my life were this short 🙂
    Thanks for your answer so i have no choice but to leave it as it is or use a plugin to disable the right mouse button …

    That won’t work either. I can get around these “limitations” in about 5 seconds flat. Added to which , hijacking a visitor’s browser and taking away their ability to use their own right-click context menu (which is essential to some users) is one way to drive traffic away from your site. Bottom line: if you don’t want people copying your content, don’t publish it on the web.

    I read about the plugin not being the solution but that it makes it a bit more difficult to copy content. It’s not that i don’t want others to use it but it would be nice if they give me the credits for content they use made by me.. But i was hoping that there was some code to “lock” parts of the content.
