How to bifurcate category list on sidebar

    I have a lot of categories (about 40). I want to bifurcate the category list on the sidebar, and create two parent category lists with about 20 of each of my current categories for each list. I couldn’t find a plugin for this.

    Any ideas?

    I don’t know of a plugin that will do what you want but you could have parent categories and child categories. That will reduce the number of categories you have on display. Eg Tax as parent category and Tax Court,
    Tax Fraud, Tax History, Taxes in the Back, …

    You can even look at other themes. I am using Atahualpa theme.
