    Hello,

I was wondering how can I avoid duplicate titles? Is there such a feature or a way of doing this?

    Thank you

Can you give more information about where these duplicate titles appear and what you are trying to do? I may have encountered and solved a similar problem recently and am happy to share with you once I have more information.

    Thanks. Antonella

Just in case these are useful, here are a couple of posts you can look at:

    Hi,

    Ok, for example:

In my WP admin > Write > Title.

I need to avoid duplicate titles for my posts. My site is http://www.xtremeopensource.org - it's a site that links to other news and blog sites. When we update the site (for example on the next day), many times we run into the same title so we need to avoid entering a title that has already been added (the day before, for example).

We are currently using Joomla! and thinking of moving the site to WP. So far it seems it's a better system for us.

Ah, you are talking about blog post titles. I'm not sure about that. My information refers to Static Page titles. Sorry I couldn't help.

    Hi,

This http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/duplicate-post-checker/ is not working, it seems that you have to register the plugin for it to work and the registration process is not working.

    Keep getting this error:

    Notice:
Sorry, the account "maxbp-activate" exists in our records but is currently not active. Please push the "back" button on your web browser and notify the website owner of this message.

I went to their forum and noticed a few other people with the same issue.

Is there another plugin for this, or a way to avoid duplicates?

    Thanks
