How to authenticate API for Jetpack

    I’ve installed Jetpack according to directions and activated it but when I click into stats, I get this error message “You have failed to authenticate with the WordPress.com API.” Yet, I’m not finding where I’m supposed to do this? I have my API number but where do I enter it?
