   I don't want to manually list the titles and links to each article.Is there a way to have the "page" articles to be listed automatically..Plugin perhaps?

   Sidenote: I only want to list the "article" pages.

   Do you mean Pages like described in the Codex?
   And, please, define "article" pages.

   http://iloveprettypurses.com/articles is where I am going to post articles it uses the "page" function.

   I want to be able archive the "articles".

   I know you can archive the blog post, but I would like to know if it possible to archive the "pages"?

   OK, now (I think) I understand what you mean.
   Out of the box there is no possibility to have Pages listed in a kind of "archive view" as with the posts.

   What I'd do in this particular situation is this:
   - make all the articles "children Pages" of Articles
   - on this "articles" page template use the wp_list_pages tag with the "children_of" parameter to list all your articles there.
   Don't forget, you'll need a special Page Template to do this.
