I'm wondering how I can customize or change the snippet that my website reveals in Google. You know, that little description of the website that appears underneath the title when searching in google. I believe it has something to do with altering the meta tags, but I'm not sure how to do this, perhaps there is a plugin to simplify this?
Any help if much appreciated!
You can certainly use an SEO plug-in like All in One SEO or WordPress SEO by Yoast to create well-written titles and meta descriptions that Google might use, but Google may or may not use them at its own discretion, and the process is automated. Here's some info from Google on their snippets:
