How to allow multiple language for self created theme by coding

    I am developing a theme for my client. My client said to me that theme must be support English and French language. There are two buttons at the top of the theme “English/French”. Once French is clicked all contents will be changed into French and vice versa. How do I do that from scratch. I mean make the buttons active. Any idea?
