kkotanI am new to WordPress and am working on creating a portfolio site for my work in conjunction with a blog and would greatly appreciate some guidance or ideas on how I might be able to troubleshoot an issue that I cannot figure out.
I am having difficult making my "work/portfolio" page match the formatting on the live preview of my theme. Currently, there is an extra header (work) and the main body section is pushed to the right instead of being left aligned. Also, the image spacing/alignment is not consistent.

The difference in the image size is intentional. I am mainly seeking guidance on how to address the alignment issue. I've read the documentation that came with the theme, and there appears to be a portfolio template; however, when I try to select it, everything on the page disappears.
Any guidance would be hugely appreciated!
