I can't figure out which code to use and where to change the code to add a little bit of space between my header and my ad. Also is there a way to center the ad under the header?

Are you using a Child Theme or Custom CSS/Styles plugin?

Hi Do you use firefox web browser? There is a great add on for this browser called the web developers toolkit which is handy for identifying elements such as your ad banner. Another one is firebug

These tools can save you many hours of waiting for answers from these forums.

Regarding the plugins, do you have a Custom CSS/Styles plugin?

Evading modifications of the theme's files, create a Child Theme, or use a Custom CSS Manager plugin to handle your CSS modifications.
This way modifications will not be erased once the theme updates.

Add a margin-top to the iframe.
Using Wotnow's suggestion of Firebug or general Browser Inspector tool, you can find which CSS styles apply to which elements. As stated, you can efficiently solve your own CSS-specific issues.
